Samui

Samui is a beautiful tropical island which is located off the east coast of Thailand. The beaches on Samui are even more beautiful then those found on Phuket. The most popular Samui beaches are all located on the east coast of Koh Samui and are Chaweng beach, Lamai beach and Big Buddha beach. If you are looking for a resort area on Samui which offers plenty of activities and plenty of nightlife venues then be sure to book a hotel or resort in Chaweng beach. Both Thai Airways and Bangkok Airways offer several daily flights from Bangkok to Samui.

Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai offers travelers a different type of holiday experience then what those travelers visiting one of the beach destinations experience. Chiang Mai is located in the mountains in the North of Thailand. Chiang Mai is a great destination for those travelers that would really like to experience Thai culture and the cultures of the hill tribes. If you enjoy the nature then Chiang Mai is a great choice as there are various great attractions in and around Chiang Mai such as trekking, rafting, elephant riding and visits to the nearby hill tribes. A number of different airlines offer several flights per day to Chiang Mai from either one of the Bangkok airports. The best time to visit Chiang Mai is during Song Kran which is the Thai New Year festival.

The cosmography of the east

The erawan museum was born of Mr. Lek Viriyapant's ideas and imagination. He would like to continue the tradition of Thai arts and craft. And especially he would like to preserve his collection of antiques as a contribution to Thai cultural heritage.

The erawan museum is deviced 3 sections. For the first section is like the beasment but you can't take a photo because it is about antiques that have to keep it saft.



The second section is like the Earth. You can see three type of art work. There are four pillars inside the building, it has a different pattern. It represents the main religion of the world. It means the religion support the world.

This is the view that you will see when you are inside the elephant's belly

The third section is like the heaven. You can see a Buddha images from different periods. And the tempera painting of the Solar system on the ceiling of the elephant's belly.


Around the Erawan museum has a botanical garden and sculpture of animals of Himavanta forest. You can walk inside this lush and shady garden.

Good memories at Plearnwan

Plearnwan is Thailand's first Eco Vintage Market. Situated on Phetkasem Road, Hua Hin.

Plearnwan means Enjoy Yesteryear. The word Plearn means Enjoy and Wan means Yesteryear. It is an open lawn area with a two storey wooden building around. Decorations in Plearnwan is based on the villages of previous generations. It is where tourists can experience Hua Hin in the past.

The museum for antique cars is aimed tom preserve all antique cars for now and for the next generation to see all cars are at last 50 years old and some are over a 100 years. All are being in good condition. The bodies as well as the engines of these cars in an exellent state of preservation.

Details of these antique cars can be received at Baan Pa Jee, Tambon Mae-Hie, Amphur Muang, Chiang Mai. Also a large furnished house can be visited. It is a 19th century house where you can also see a collection of rare musical instruments, tape recorders and etc. The antique cars can be seen daily at between 08.30 a.m. and 20.00 p.m.

Museum Siam is located on Sanam Chai Road in Phra Nakhon District, in the former building of the Ministry of Commerce. This building won an outstanding award of art and architecture preservation in 2006 from the committee on art and architecture preservation of the Association of Siamese Architects under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King (ASA).

The museum serves as a learning centre on ethnology, anthropology, and other fields related to Thai society and Southeast Asia, in order to instil consciousness and understanding of the Thai people in their history, nation, culture, and localities, as well as connect relative ties with neighbouring countries. New methods of a display with modern media have been applied to enable participation of visitors in learning and understanding historical stories of the Thai nation.

Phu Wiang Dinosaur Museum is a geological museum mainly exhibited the story about fossils. พระที่นั่งวิมานเมฆ เป็นพระที่นั่งที่สร้างด้วยไม้สักทองที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก และเป็นพระที่นั่งถาวรองค์แรกในพระราชวังดุสิตพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้สร้างขึ้นในพระราชวังดุสิต มีลักษณะทางสถาปัตยกรรมที่งดงามประณีตและได้รับอิทธิพลการก่อสร้างแบบตะวันตก การก่อสร้างแล้วเสร็จในเดือนมีนาคม พ.ศ. 2444
